It’s far too late at night for me to be writing one of these. Since the… last time I posted, we did some stuff. We waltzed into Dynamis Buburimu and wrecked up the place. AB wasn’t very generous though, and neither were most of the nightmare mobs. Congratulations to Bor on Saotome Kote -1, and Alienspy on Sorcerer’s Gloves -1. No Valor Cape FTL.

Oh and I didn’t take pictures of anything even close to important, so here’s a cool… scenic thing:

We had one hell of an Einherjar in there, that I’m pretty sure we’re still holding our poor ravaged bums from. Straight off the loss of a few of our heavy-hitters, we got tossed into Brunhilde’s Chamber with 6 Ormr and a metric fuck ton of bones. I got nothin’. Not even a picture.

For a change this week we decided to go after the ToAU kings, for something different to do, and to help along a few Mythic seekers in the shell. Medusa was the first one to go down, and I think we had a harder time getting all 16 of us there and not lost somewhere in the catacombs of… wherever the fuck she is. That isn’t to say it wasn’t a fun fight, but getting there is half the battle / time.

I took lots of pictures of this one. Perhaps to make up for lack of picture-taking across the board this week.

And we did get full drops for what it’s worth, grats to Spy on the synth thing, and Escher on the hands, that none of us realized THF can’t equip.

A brief post to say that we are still here and going strong. We chose to lay low and not participate in the witch hunt on Bluegartr, although I will admit that I, as well as many of my members, were glued to it for a period of 3 days.

We have unfortunately suffered a few losses, and to those people who are now gone for good, we feel for you. The FFXI community as a whole suffered the loss of quite a few truly great players, across all servers. It hits hardest closest to home however, and so to those on Asura, and especially within my own LS, I offer my heartfelt apologies for your devotion, time, and work that you have put in over the years. To those of you who chose not to return, I hope that you enjoy your time away from this addiction, and please pop in to say hi when you can find the time.

As a result of these unfortunate events, we have reopened applications, and are looking for 2-3 more members. Please see our forums for more details.

Special announcement this time around! Everyone in Infusion, and I’m sure friends all over Asura, would like to congratulate Wyldfyre and Jennsen on their (in-game) wedding! I didn’t get to go because of work, and I’m still sulking about it, but Jenn did take a lot of pictures for me. Here’s one of them:

Well let’s start with Seiryu, who coughed up a D. Head, and S. Kote, congratulations to Imperial and our buyer on those respectively.

Next in line was Byakko, who was kind enough to grace us with another pair of Byakko’s Haidate, and Hecatomb hands. Congratulations to our buyer on the haidate, and Takida on the hands.




After that we went after Kirin again, and I swear to fuck we just have no luck with this guy. Congratulations to Kltani on his Shura Togi.




The fourth and final funeral (say that one five times fast) belonged to Motsognir, who can in lieu of an elegant eulogy, SUCK A FAT ONE.
We didn’t get any abjurations out of the chest. Color me surprised!
